Pack 408 currently meets one Saturday a month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  For exact dates, please see the calendar.

Meetings are currently held at the Dunne Park Clubhouse located at 600 West Street, Hollister, CA 95023.

Den Leaders may meet on additional days to help with rank up adventures!

Yes!  We accept all children in grades Kindergarten - 5th year-round.

You can register your Scout entirely online!  Simply click Here to Register for Pack 408 or go to the Useful Links section of our website and click the "Register for Pack 408 in Hollister" button near the top of the page.  This will take you directly to the official BSA sign-up portal for Pack 408.  The system will guide you through creating a parent account, completing the youth application, and submitting your registration fees onine.

Yes.  Cub Scouting is a family program.  For Kindergarten (Lions) and 1st Grade (Tigers), a parent or guardian must attend all meetings.  For older grades, parent involvement is still highly encouraged, and a parent must attend all overnight campouts and outdoor trips.

Also, our Pack is run by volunteers.  The more help and participation from parents, the better the experience for your kids and the easier it is for all involved.  If you are interested in helping out, please reach out!

No experience needed!  We teach the children everything they need to know about hiking, camping, and outdor safety.  Our family campouts are highly beginner-friendly.

Annual registration is $112.27

• Registration Fee:  $85.00

• Council Fee:  $24.00

• Processing Fee:  $3.27

100% of the registration and fees go directly to the national organization and local council for insurance and program support.

No, Pack 408 does not charge monthly or local dues.  All of our Pack events, campouts, advancement badges, and handbooks are funded entirely through our annual Trail's End popcorn fundraiser in the fall.  We ask all of our families to participate so we can keep Scouting affordable for everyone!  You can do this by selling door-to-door or by picking up 2-hour shifts at storefronts such as Lucky's in town.

What Pack 408 provides:

• Class B T-shirt.  This is used for outdoor activities and campouts.

• Rank Handbook.  This describes all adventures your Scout may participate in to earn belt loops.

• Advancement Belt Loops and Patches.  Belt loops are worn on the Scout's belt to show off completed adventures.  Patches can be sewn onto a red felt vest to show off other achievements earned through their time in Scouts.
